Roma In screed heating cables are designed to be installed under / within a concrete screed. Ideal for use during the construction and renovation of buildings. They work in a very similar way to water systems but without the need of any ongoing maintenance or expensive boiler and labour costs. Suitable for use under virtually all floor coverings once installed they provide you with maximum flexibility.

Kits based on 170watts per m2.
In screed heating cables are more powerful and have extra shielding in comparison to standard loos wire heating kits. To be used as a primary heat source the wire is up rated to 17wattes per Lm and should be installed at suitable spacing's to provide at least 170watts per m2.
The instillation process is very similar to that of the loose wire kits, with the addition of a concrete screed being installed over before any floor covering is fitted. Please note sufficient insulation must be fitted prior to the cable being laid and the covering screed should not exceed 50mm.
