Roma offers several systems suitable for use under Vinyl. All systems will require an additional covering of either staggered ply/hardboard or levelling compound prior to the Vinyl being installed.

Heat film underfloor heating system for use under wood and laminate floor coverings

Heat Film.

Roma heat film is the thinnest UFH system current available. At 200watts per m2 it is a high output system and one of the only systems available for use as the primary heat source under vinyl. Heat film is the also the only system made to measure as the mats can be made to almost any length required prior to being fitted. Heat film can be used under vinyl flooring but requires additional staggered layers of ply / hard board lade over the film prior to the vinyl being installed.

Ribbon, Loose Wire and Wire Heat Mats

Roma Ribbon, loose wire kits and Wire Heating mats are all suitable for use under Vinyl flooring. They should be installed over suitable sub floors and then have and additional layer of leveling compound installed. The levelling should cover the ribbon mats by at lest 2mm and the loose wire kits and wire mats by at least 6mm.

In Screed Under Concrete Cable Kits.

In Screed under Concrete cable kits are designed for use under all floor coverings including Vinyl. Once the cable has been laid and the concrete screed covering has been installed over chosen floor covering can be installed in the normal way.
